Terms & Conditions of Sale
1. Payment for goods may be made by cheque, Mastercard
or Visa card. Direct bank deposits can be accepted by prior arrangement.
1a. Payments by cash are not accepted.
1b. Cheques are to be made payable to Pet Supplies On Line.
1c. Credit card payments can be made by sending card details to
us using the secure on-line Order Form provided, or by faxing the
form to us on 03 5725 1339. You may also mail the form to us - address
the form to Pet Supplies On Line, PO Box 153, Wangaratta, Vic, 3676.
2. Goods will be despatched as soon as payment is received.
2a. In the case of payments by cheque, goods will be despatched
as soon as the cheque has cleared. Australian cheques take 3 business
days to clear.
2b. All prices listed in this Australian site include GST.
3. Insurance is recommended but not essential. If goods are damaged
in transit or fail to arrive the following conditions apply:
3a. If insurance is selected
i) Any goods which fail to arrive within a reasonable period will
be replaced to their full value. You must notify us immediately
when either or both shipments arrive.
ii)In the unlikely event of any damage in transit, you will be required
to take the goods to your local postal authorities for verification.
They will then be replaced in full.
3b. If insurance is not selected
i) Goods will be carefully packed before despatch, however despite
all care we cannot be held responsible for any damage or delays
to goods in transit.
ii) If goods are not received within a reasonable period, please
contact us. In the unlikely event that goods are lost in transit,
we will make every effort to track the goods but cannot be held
responsible for losses in transit. The customer is also responsible
for making every effort to recover the goods.
4. In the event that an item ordered cannot be supplied, you will
be contacted to ask if you wish for a substitution or a refund.
4a. In the case of substitution, another item of equal value meeting
with your approval will be sent.
4b. In the case of being unable to supply an item, and for which
there is no satisfactory substitute, any money paid for this item
will be refunded via the same method by which payment was made.
5. If any goods received by you are found to be defective or of
poor workmanship, please contact us in person or by email immediately,
and return the goods for exchange.
5a. Any such claims must be made within 5 working days of receipt
of goods.
5b. Refunds will not be given unless we are unable to supply the
same goods in exchange.
5c. Any freight charges incurred are not refundable and are the
responsibility of the customer.
6. No other warranty is hereby given except as required by relevant
legislation.
